Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Marketing Assistant in the Non-Profit industry, located in Savannah, Georgia. This role will involve coordinating events, managing accounts, and assisting in marketing campaigns. The role also requires flexibility in working hours, including shifts and occasional weekends.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in organizing and booking blood drives, acting as a key point of contact for coordinators at partnering businesses
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for blood drives
• Manage accounts, ensuring all related tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Coordinate events, handling all logistical details to ensure smooth execution
• Use email marketing techniques to promote events and engage with potential donors
• Maintain key account management responsibilities, building and nurturing relationships with partnering businesses
• Utilize direct marketing campaigns to increase awareness and participation in blood drives
• Oversee account maintenance, ensuring all customer information is accurate and up-to-date
• Schedule events, meetings, and appointments in an organized and efficient manner
• Coordinate all aspects of event handling, from initial planning stages to post-event follow-up. Requirements • Proficiency in Email Marketing strategies and techniques.
• Experience in Account Management, including Key Account Management and Account Maintenance.
• Demonstrated skill in Coordinating Events and Event Handling.
• Proven track record of success in Direct Marketing Campaigns.
• Aptitude for Scheduling and Event Coordination.
• Prior experience in the non-profit sector is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
