Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Scarborough, Maine. The job function is primarily in the call center industry and involves a range of responsibilities related to customer service and data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls from customers, providing timely and efficient responses.

• Utilize call center resources to optimize customer service.

• Enter and update customer information in the database accurately.

• Manage email correspondence with customers, ensuring all queries and concerns are addressed promptly.

• Balance inbound and outbound calls, ensuring all customer interactions are handled professionally.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data management and document preparation.

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Schedule appointments as needed to meet customer service goals.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions to maintain good standing.

• Continually improve customer service techniques to enhance the customer experience. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required.

• Must be skilled in answering inbound calls and handling both inbound and outbound calls.

• Prior experience in a call center setting focused on customer service is necessary.

• Ability to perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.

• Must have experience in order entry.

• Experience in managing email correspondence professionally is essential.

• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently and accurately.

• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on resolving customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.

• Must be able to work in a team environment and contribute positively to the team dynamics.

• Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology.

• Must be reliable, punctual and adhere to the set work schedule.

• Must have a proactive approach to tasks and a positive attitude towards work.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Prior experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.
