Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Schaumburg, Illinois. This role involves supporting a project that requires precision and a bit of mathematical skills. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be creating quotes in our system based on invoices and processing these invoices.
Responsibilities:
• Review invoices and create line items based on the information provided.
• Accurately input the dollar amount for each line item in the system.
• Apply a 5% addition to each line item as part of the data entry process.
• Process invoices and ensure they are properly organized in the system.
• Use your skills in Microsoft Excel and Word to manage and track data.
• Utilize your 10 key skills for efficient data entry and calculations.
• Handle customer service tasks by resolving customer inquiries via email correspondence.
• Organize files and documents for easy retrieval and reference.
• Perform scanning tasks to digitize physical documents.
• Use your typing skills to ensure accurate and fast data entry. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Strong 10 Key Skills
• Previous experience in Data Entry
• Excellent customer service skills
• Adept at organizing files and documents
• Ability to perform calculations accurately
• Skilled in scanning and digitizing documents
• Proficient in typing, with a focus on speed and accuracy
• Experience in email correspondence
