Description This Bookkeeper role is a great opportunity if you are a self-driven and organized accounting professional who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Our client is in current pursuit for a qualified Full Charge Bookkeeper. A demonstrated ability in overseeing cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close, will be critical to the success of this Full Charge Bookkeeper role. The Full Charge Bookkeeper might also govern the clerical staff. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Scottsdale, Arizona area. Don't wait - submit an application today! What you get to do every single day - Register budget transfers - Prepare subcontractor 1099'Microsoft, and any other IRS year-end requirement - Outline business license and gross receipts - Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents - Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments - Administrate Accounts Receivable - Administer monthly accounting close - Extra unique tasks if required - Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation - Manage Accounts Payable - Produce cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc. - Prepare cash flow projections, as needed Requirements - Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines - Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity - Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred - Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred - Strong organization skills - Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills - Full Cycle Payroll experience - Demonstrated knowledge of Tax Preparation - General familiarity with Quickbooks Online - Adeptness in Annual Tax Provision - Full charge bookkeeping experience - Experience with Annual Tax - Corporate Tax experience - Full charge bookkeeping experience preferred - Self-starter and strong ethical standards - Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
