Robert Half Human Resources Director in Scottsdale, Arizona
Description We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role is crucial in managing our human resources functions, overseeing several key areas such as staffing, recruitment, retention, compliance, and payroll administration. You will play a key role in optimizing HR functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Administer various human resource programs, including compensation and benefits, performance and talent management, disciplinary matters, disputes, and investigations.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategy with organizational goals, particularly in relation to staffing, recruitment, and retention.
• Oversee the management of payroll functions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct research and analysis of organizational trends, including reviewing reports and metrics from the HRIS or talent management system.
• Monitor the organization's adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, modifying policies and practices as necessary to maintain compliance.
• Foster detail oriented development, training, and certification activities for HR staff.
• Manage staffing and recruiting needs, developing and executing best practices for hiring and talent management.
• Coach managers at all levels on leadership and HR best practices.
• Stay abreast of trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law, applying this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
• Develop and implement the departmental budget. Requirements
• Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Sr Manager role.
• Ability to perform Benefit Functions effectively is a must.
• Excellent Communication skills are necessary for this role.
• The candidate should have a strong understanding and expertise in HR Compliance.
• Experience in Employee Relations management is essential.
• Familiarity with Hiring Processes and best practices.
• Experience with Union Payroll is a requirement.
• Proficiency in using Paylocity software is desirable.
• Experience with SAP HR software is a plus
