Robert Half Seattle is seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist for a large communications client. As the Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and success of their firm. This position encompasses a wide range of accounting functions, with responsibilities spanning payroll, accounts payable, project accounting, billing, contract management support, and general accounting tasks.
Manage and process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Handle accounts payable duties, including processing invoices, verifying transactions, and reconciling discrepancies.
Assist with project accounting by tracking expenses, monitoring budgets, and preparing financial reports.
Manage billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to clients.
Provide support for contract management, including reviewing contracts, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance.
Assist with general accounting tasks, such as reconciling bank statements, preparing journal entries, and maintaining financial records.
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
ADP Payroll Processing experience
Ability to commute up to 2 days a week onsite to Downtown Seattle, WA area
