Robert Half Accounting Clerk in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are offering a role for an Accounting Clerk based in Seattle, Washington. This position falls within the telecom industry and involves maintaining meticulous financial records, processing transactions, and providing general support to the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions

• Reconciliation of vendor statements and resolution of discrepancies

• Analysis of expense reports to ensure accuracy

• Assistance with billing tasks as required, including posting costs, editing pre-bills, and submitting invoices through third-party billing

• Maintenance of organized records of invoices, payments, and transactions

• Use of software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing

• Account reconciliation and management of accounts payable and receivable

• Assisting with general office backup responsibilities when necessary

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and maintaining customer credit records.

Requirements • Possess skills in Account Reconciliation

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiar with Billing procedures and techniques

• Able to perform Data Entry tasks with high accuracy

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management

• Experience with Oracle database management system

• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software

• Knowledge and experience in using SAP for business process management

• Hold relevant qualifications or experience in Accounting or a related field

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Proactive in learning and adapting to new systems and processes.
