Description
A thriving company is working with Robert Half to find a talented Accounting Manager. This is a successful organization that will recognize your efforts. Candidates who can lead daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, will be preferred for this position. To succeed in this role, you will need the ability to create and monitor the company's accounting and finance operations. This Accounting Manager position is a terrific opportunity for permanent employment that is located in the Seattle, Washington area.
How you will make an impact
Work alongside FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Lead and encourage the full accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure deadlines are met
Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 + bonus.

Requirements
Reliable technology and analytical abilities
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
CPA or MBA preferred
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Recent relevant financial experience
Customer service oriented communication skills
Proficiency in month end closings
Property accounting experience desired
Comprehension of Vendor Invoices
Quality experience with forecasting
Foundational knowledge in year end closings
Proven knowledge of Profit and loss
Experience with Prepare Financial Reports
Previous experience working with general ledger
General familiarity with financial analysis
Wide ranging experience with capital assets
Practical knowledge of budgeting
Real Estate Accounting experience preferred
Earlier work involving Leadership Skills
Good understanding of journal entries
Well-founded grasp of Balance Sheets
Skills in cash flow management
