Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Seattle, Washington

Description

Robert Half is seeking an AP Clerk for a long-term contract opportunity for a property management company. The position requires a candidate to be fully onsite but free parking and lunch is provided during the week. The job function involves processing AP for numerous properties, maintaining vendor profiles, and handling large volumes of invoices. Our client is need of a meticulous individual who can manage large amounts of data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of accounts payable for multiple properties.

• Manage daily uploads and imports of files for each property into specified software.

• Execute scheduled check runs on a daily basis.

• Create and manage vendor profiles, ensuring they are correctly classified.

• Perform account reconciliations for various vendors.

• Assist in the transition of properties to a new electronic invoicing system.

• Collaborate with accountants to understand and process required payments.

• Communicate with vendors regarding payments and other inquiries.

• Aid in managing the high volume of invoices that need to be approved and processed monthly.

• Participate in the conversion of the current system.

• Manage and audit all invoices before distribution.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Prior experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills required

• Familiarity with Invoice Processing necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle software a plus

• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of ethical standards and professionalism

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills

• Familiarity with financial regulations and accounting principles

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
