Description
We are on the hunt for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the non-profit sector located in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be tasked with handling customer applications, maintaining precise records, and resolving any customer-related issues. Additionally, you will monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records
• Create invoices
• Become proficient in the computerized accounting system and understand the daily procedures of each position
• Handle tasks related to Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, and Commercial Collections
• Maintain an understanding of the non-profit industry's accounting practices and apply them in your daily work.
• Offer assistance in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the department's programs and services
Requirements
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Knowledgeable in Billing procedures
• Familiarity with Cash Applications
• Experience in Cash Collections
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
