Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented CFO - Chief Financial Officer to join our team located in Seattle, Washington. As a CFO, you will be responsible for substantial fiscal operations, including finance, accounting, budgeting, procurement, and information systems. You will also play a pivotal role in the upgrade of our CRM system and maintain a leadership role within our team. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the fiscal operations of the organization including FP& A, budgeting, procurement, finance, accounting, and information systems.
• Lead the upgrade of the organization's CRM system, which is used for the administration of all programs.
• Possess a strong understanding of grant funding and billing, due to the organization's significant reliance on donations.
• Maintain knowledge of special audit requirements and work collaboratively with the team to understand and rectify any discrepancies found within the financials.
• Lead, manage and create a calming, clear, and focused atmosphere among the team, overseeing six direct reports.
• Prepare materials for board interactions and maintain a strong presence in senior leadership meetings.
• Maintain and monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Display proficiency in using NetSuite for budgeting and other financial operations.
Requirements
• Ability to manage Accounting Functions effectively.
• Understanding of Budget Processes is expected.
• Capital Management skills are required.
• Ability to conduct Cash Flow Analysis effectively.
