Robert Half Facilities Director in Seattle, Washington

Description We are seeking a Facilities Assistant based in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's facilities, ensuring their proper maintenance and functionality. This includes the use of various management systems and Microsoft Office Suites. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the management of facilities, ensuring they are maintained and functional.

• Utilizing management systems to keep track of maintenance schedules, repairs, and upgrades.

• Using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites for administrative tasks related to facility management.

• Handling inquiries related to facilities, including conference rooms and construction areas.

• Providing excellent customer service to employees and visitors, addressing any concerns or issues they may have regarding the facilities.

• Assisting in the creation and maintenance of documentation related to facility management.

• Communicating effectively with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation of facilities.

• Monitoring and managing the use of conference rooms, ensuring they are appropriately scheduled and prepared for meetings.

• Overseeing construction areas within the facilities to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Requirements • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience in facilities management systems

• Knowledge of construction principles and practices

• Ability to manage conference rooms effectively

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to maintain and manage documentation effectively

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well in a team and independently

• Proven problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changes

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
