Robert Half Fund Accountant in Seattle, Washington
Description
We are inviting applications for the role of Fund Accountant based in Seattle, Washington. The individual will be instrumental in managing various accounting functions within our team. The role involves recording investment transactions, preparing financial statements, and interacting with the investment team and administrators of funds.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and execute the recording of investment transactions, ensuring precision and accuracy.
• Perform reconciliations to ensure the consistency and accuracy of financial data.
• Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) and manage associated processes.
• Act as a liaison between the investment team and the administrators of funds, providing necessary financial information and insights.
• Prepare and present financial statements, investor reports, and K-1's in accordance with GAAP Accounting principles.
• Carry out capital call reporting duties, updating and maintaining relevant records.
• Manage the annual audit process, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform donor advised fund accounting reporting, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to streamline and enhance accounting processes.
• Participate in budget processes, supporting in the management of capital and the execution of investment transactions.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Demonstrated experience in Accounting Functions
• Expertise in Accrual Accounting
• Knowledge of Auditing practices
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Understanding of Capital Management
• Experience in handling Investment Transactions
• Proficiency in performing Reconciliations
• Knowledge of NAV - Net Asset Value
• Experience in Fund Accounting
• Ability to Prepare Financial Statements
• Experience in Investor reporting
• Familiarity with K-1 tax forms
• Ability to manage Investment Accounts
• Proficiency in GAAP Accounting
