We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Graphic Designer. This role is based in Seattle, Washington, within the education sector at a university. As a Graphic Designer, your primary function will be to create visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. Your work will involve designing various materials for their programs, including one-pagers, window shade banner designs, and quarterly newsletters.

Responsibilities:

• Design and produce a range of print and digital materials such as banners, brochures, and templates.

• Work closely with the team to visually communicate specific messages or concepts.

• Develop graphics for program specific one-pagers.

• Create unique templates for various types of materials.

• Design engaging emails using Marketo.

• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign to create visual elements.

• Develop and design the quarterly newsletter.

• Create various types of templates for window shade banner designs.

• Increase brand awareness through the design of advertisements and artwork.

• Collaborate with the team to decide on the direction of projects.

Requirements • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign is required.

• Experience in creating various forms of advertisements such as banner ads and brochures.

• Ability to develop and maintain brand awareness through visual design.

• Competency in creating unique artwork for different platforms.

• Experience in designing templates for various marketing materials.

• Knowledge of Marketo for creating and implementing marketing campaigns.

• Ability to work in a university setting and understand the specific needs of the education sector.

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A degree in Graphic Design or a related field is preferred. Innovation starts with people.®
