Robert Half Litigation Attorney (up to 100% REMOTE) in Seattle, Washington

Description

A boutique litigation practice with offices in Washington and Oregon is expanding and seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their firm. At this firm, you are able to handle a variety of cases or specialize in an area of interest, including personal injury, wrongful death, premise liability, construction defect, professional liability, and more. This role provides an excellent opportunity for professional advancement within a flexible, technologically advanced, and highly collaborative environment. This firm embraces a flexible work culture, allowing for up to 100% remote work for candidate residing in Washington State or Oregon.

Responsibilities include:

  • Representing clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.

  • Conducting discovery, including taking and defending depositions, interviewing witnesses, and collection, review, and production of documents.

  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, etc.

  • Conducting legal research to support a case or determine a legal opinion.

  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, aiming for the most beneficial outcome possible.

  • Provide legal advice to clients, preparing them for what to expect and guiding them through legal processes.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000. This position is eligible for bonuses based on billables exceeding the requirement of 1750 hours/year, along with discretionary annual bonuses. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; participation in the company's 401(k) plan with match, flexible paid time off and paid holidays.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.

  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to provide samples/credentials supporting this competence.

  • Proficiency in leveraging technology to maximize efficiency.

  • Admission to the State Bar of Washington and/or Oregon is required. Admission to Idaho State Bar would be a plus.
