Robert Half Project Manager - Change Management IV in Seattle, Washington

Description If you're a Project Manager seeking an immediate opening, you may want to apply to this role via Robert Half for a company in the Seattle, Washington area. The Project Manager will consider suggestions from a team of Business Analysts in order to complete detailed requirements documentation, a responsibility that may involve data mapping to accounting systems for proper accounting and reporting of transactions. You'll need to bring a knack for cross-functional collaboration, as this role will require you to incorporate input and feedback from the accounting leadership team and from key participants in other functional areas. Your responsibilities

  • Arranges priorities of concurrent project and support assignments and meet stakeholder expectations

  • Works to create governance approaches for the projects to ensure stable communication as well as issue resolution

  • Works to meet project sponsor expectations, have a clear understanding of business drivers and, when required, recommend changes to project scope, timing, or resources to deliver strategic solutions

  • Explains and analyzes business requirements for a range of business users

  • Starts and manages work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, issue management and risk mitigation

  • Communicates with the development team to describe business requirements and business process design Requirements - Past experience with or in an accounting function with a key role in system projects preferred

  • Solid understanding of navigating basic office equipment and protocols

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance & Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Demonstrated success acting in a project management capacity

  • Those who have a Project Management and/or Business Systems Analyst Certification are preferred

  • Ability to use your discretion and act on it

  • Able to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction

  • Expertise in business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, modeling and testing methodologies & development

  • Keep in touch with executive management, team members, business and technology professionals via both written and oral methods

  • Proficient in a range of project management software such as Microsoft Project, SmartSheet or other similar applications
