Robert Half Project Manager in Seattle, Washington

Description

Robert Half is partnering with a global eCommerce enterprise in search of a highly skilled Program Manager to join their team in Seattle. This role requires an individual with a strong background in data analysis, risk management, and business operations optimization. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing cross-functional projects, managing risks and opportunities, and driving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience influencing key stakeholders, delivering complex projects, and optimizing business processes.

Location: Seattle, WA (remote but all candidates must be local to Seattle)

Duration: 2-month initial contract w/ potential for extension

Hours: 40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $80-90/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of requests and engagements in a fast-paced environment, ensuring seamless operations.

  • Track existing metrics and develop new ones to validate schedule and team performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Create and implement performance improvement plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide detailed performance reports in weekly and monthly forums for senior leadership and partner teams.

  • Set measurable targets that support the overall objectives of the organization.

  • Translate internal team requirements into actionable risks and opportunities, ensuring project success.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Demonstrated expertise in processing data, analyzing insights, and presenting key metrics to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

  • Risk and Issue Management: Proficiency in developing, managing, and optimizing a comprehensive program-level risk, issue, and opportunity management framework.

  • Business Operations Optimization: Experience in creating and streamlining operational processes to drive efficiency, centralization, and stakeholder adoption across the organization.

    Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.

  • Proven ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements.

  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating outcomes to senior leadership.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders and collaborate with both business and technical teams.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions to complex challenges.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience recommending and implementing solutions to achieve deliverables.

  • Strong experience in developing structural solutions to ambiguous problems.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • MBA or Master’s degree in management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.

  • 2+ years working directly with engineering teams.

  • Experience working on aerospace products or projects is a plus.
