Robert Half International Project Specialist in Seattle, Washington
JOB SUMMARY AND MISSION
This job contributes to Company success by coordinating moderately complex projects or segments and phases of complex projects for a business unit, department or functional area. May provide some limited functional support for the department, but generally handles only project responsibilities. Models and acts in accordance with Company guiding principles.
The team currently uses a system called Workfront to manage their projects. They are currently going through a review process to evaluate how to better leverage the system. The developers will provide their recommendations, and the project specialist will drive these recommendations and execute the reset. They will potentially work with cross-functional teams across the origanization that also use Workfront. The project specialist will also be in charge of some of the admin responsibilities as it relates to redoing templates.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Coordinates or participates in all phases of the project cycle, including planning, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, training and closure. Ensures that the project achieves the expected results within time and on budget. May direct the work of others.
Ensures effective ongoing communication throughout the project. Meets with key managers to coordinate meetings, assignments and deadlines. Communicates changes to appropriate parties. Identifies issues and resolves or escalates them as appropriate.
Gathers, organizes, analyzes and reports information in support of moderately complex projects to improve profitability, reduce costs, streamline operations or enhance customer service.
Represents business unit, department or functional area on cross-functional project teams.
Tracks progress towards achievement of project goals. Maintains project documentation and prepares activity reports on the project's status, timeline and budgets.
3 years of project management experience
Strong project management skills are a must
Ability to track and prioritize multiple and sometimes competing responsibilities.
Work well with different personalities.
Process and detail-oriented.
Ability to navigate complex system of approvals.
NICE TO HAVES
Candidates with a systems background could be beneficial
Someone with agency experience or experience working with a creative team will succeed.
Experience with Workfront is preferred.
Candidates with enterprise data asset management (DAM) experience are preferred
