Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Analyst in Sebastopol, California. This role is situated within a bustling office environment and calls for someone who can manage a variety of tasks in the accounting field. The position will involve dealing with technical finance and accounting duties, customer service, and government-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Handle technical finance and accounting duties, including AP/AR and reconciliation.
• Manage utilities billing and ensure accuracy in general ledger entries.
• Administer the accounting program and ensure its efficient operation.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering both phone and walk-in queries from citizens.
• Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to learn new tasks and processes.
• Perform intense reconciliation tasks and be able to switch between different duties with ease.
• Exhibit a team-oriented attitude and contribute positively to the office environment.
• Utilize accounting software systems and other related tools such as ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Carry out auditing and billing functions to maintain financial accuracy.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure proper management of finances. Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Experience with Ceridian is needed
• Knowledge and experience in using Concur is desired
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is mandatory
• In-depth understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Knowledge in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential
• Auditing skills are a must
• Experience in Billing Functions is necessary
