Description
We are in search of a meticulous Staff Accountant to join our team in Sedro Woolley, Washington. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the finance department with a variety of tasks, including month-end and year-end closing, cash management, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintain daily cash reports, providing critical information on financial standing.
• Perform financial analysis, supplying valuable insights for decision-making to various program managers.
• Offer support to payroll function, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
• Prepare monthly fleet fuel entries and reconcile prepaid fuel cards, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
• Assist in managing cash flow operations, working closely with the Finance Director.
• Prepare for annual audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is ready for review.
• Respect and adhere to the values and culture of the local community.
• Ensure confidentiality is maintained.
• Perform other tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000.

Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in Bank Reconciliations and General Ledger maintenance
• Ability to prepare Journal Entries accurately
• Experience with Month End Close and Year End Closings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with Daily Cash Receipts and Cash Management
• Ability to conduct Financial Analysis
• Experience with Payroll processing
• Audit experience is beneficial
