Chris Preble has been engaged by an organization in the Seneca Falls, NY area to find their next HR Generalist. This is a newly created role that has a lot of flexibility and good work life balance. Given it's a newly created role, they have the ability to tailor the job to the fit of the person they hire. As such, there's a wide salary range because they're open to someone with hardly any experience in HR and someone that has experience in HR.

Some of your duties include...

  • HR Compliance. Recommends best practices to the executive team; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

  • Help facilitate and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

  • Involvement in training and continuing education trainings

  • Onboarding duties including new hire orientation and employee recognition programs and offboarding of employees.

  • Handles employment-related inquiries and incident reporting from employees

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

The Human Resources Generalist should have a bachelors degree

Experience in HR is required. This can be via a HR degree and internships in HR or actual working HR generalist experience

Excellent communication skills are required
