Description
Robert Half has a top-notch opportunity for a permanent Accounting Administrator to join the team at a successful company in the Manufacturing industry. The Accounting Admin. is responsible for matching, batching, and coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks and expense reports. Within this dynamic department, you will have the opportunity to advance and grow your career. The opening for a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the Seneca, South Carolina area.
Responsibilities
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Provide support during internal and external audits
Complete full-cycle A/P
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Execute additional tasks as needed
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Provide support to internal business partners
Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
Requirements
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
2+ years of experience in an A/P role within a manufacturing setting preferred
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Purchase Orders experience
Automated Clearing House (ACH) experience
Solid understanding of SAP
Foundational knowledge in Check Runs
Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
Proficient in MS Excel- very familiar with spreadsheets and databases
