Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Senoia, Georgia
Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Senoia, Georgia. This role involves executing various tasks related to account reconciliation, accounts receivable, and billing in our finance department. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer invoices on a daily basis, maintaining a steady flow of invoicing and billing tasks.
• Engage in collections activities through both phone and email communication, ensuring timely payment of due invoices.
• Maintain and update customer credit records, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of any discrepancies.
• Reconciliation of accounts, ensuring accuracy of all financial data.
• Correspond with sales representatives regarding invoicing and billing matters.
• Occasionally handle invoicing for low-dollar, high-volume items.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and ERP software (MoveX or similar) for various tasks, such as data manipulation and balance spreads.
• Ensure all work is completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Foster a team-oriented approach, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable and billing.
This role offers a contract employment opportunity. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar.
• Proficient in account reconciliation and accounts receivable (AR).
• Experience with billing and commercial collections is required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with AS400 is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
