Description

We are seeking a VP/Director of Finance to join our client in Brunswick County, NC This role is critical to our organization, with a focus on financial planning, risk analysis, and team leadership. The VP/Director of Finance will also oversee financial processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to senior management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Conduct financial and sensitivity/risk analysis and implement risk mitigation strategies

• Analyze financial trends and make recommendations on spending or investment decisions

• Review property insurance coverage amounts and make recommendations to ensure appropriate coverage

• Prepare and present timely and accurate reporting analysis to management

• Establish and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures for the financial department

• Track and evaluate financial performance indicators, key metrics, and financial ratios

• Provide financial insight, recommendations, and guidance to senior management on business decisions and cost management strategies

• Lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial objectives

• Maintain a strong understanding of fiscal policy and investment regulations

• Oversee the preparation of business activity reports and financial forecasts.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of finance

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning is essential

• Must be well-versed with all Accounting Functions

• Should have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to manage Annual Budget is required

• Experience in Financial Planning is a must

• Must have knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)
