Robert Half Staff Accountant in Sheffield Village, Ohio
Description We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in SHEFFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio. In this role, you will be performing a variety of accounting functions within the service industry. You will be processing various accounts, assisting in financial preparations, and coordinating with vendors and customers. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working at a fast pace and can operate with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
• Processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Assisting in the preparation and processing of journal entries
• Assisting in the production of monthly financials
• Assisting with cash forecasting and budget preparation
• Performing Account Reconciliations
• Coordinating and communicating with vendors and customers
• Assisting management with additional assignments as needed
• Utilizing QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks
• Managing time effectively to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Requirements • Possess skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficient in Journal Entries
• Familiar with Financial Statement Preparation
• Ability to perform Cash Forecasting
• Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Knowledge of Account Reconciliation
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks
• Open to applicants with 0 or more years of experience in a similar role
• Relevant academic background or equivalent professional experience in the service industry
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.
