Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Shelbyville, Indiana
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in SHELBYVILLE, Indiana. This role is primarily based in the office and requires managing high volume accounts payable and light accounts receivable functions in a business casual environment.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process customer credit applications with accuracy
• Maintain up-to-date customer credit records
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Utilize various accounting software systems including Epicor and Concur
• Perform various accounting functions including account coding and accrual accounting
• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for managing business processes
• Carry out auditing tasks to ensure financial transactions are accurate and legal
• Handle transactions through the Automated Clearing House (ACH)
• Use ADP - Financial Services for managing payroll and HR services. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is needed.
• Proficiency in using Concur is required.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is required.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is needed.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is essential.
• Auditing skills are required.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is needed.
