Description

A client of Robert Half is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Lead to join their team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels in managing both projects and teams. As an IT Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the client’s IT operations, providing guidance on critical IT projects, and ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of their technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT Projects: Plan, execute, and oversee various IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure improvements.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the IT department and key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

  • Troubleshoot IT Issues: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Develop IT Strategies: Work with the executive team to develop and implement effective IT strategies that align with the client’s business objectives.

  • Ensure Compliance and Security: Oversee security protocols to safeguard company data and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service levels are met.

  • Budget Management: Assist in budgeting for IT resources, including hardware, software, and personnel costs, while identifying cost-saving opportunities.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in IT management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in network management, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise software (experience with [specific technologies used by the client] preferred).

  • Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project).

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to translate technical language for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Certifications (preferred): PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or relevant technology certifications.
