Non-Profit Assistant Controller with Career Growth Opportunity! Our Valued Client, a thriving Non-Profit organization, has partnered with Robert Half in search of an up and coming Assistant Controller to join it's team. This position offers career progression, work life balance and an excellent culture. The Assistant Controller role plays a key part in the Accounting function of the organization and provides support to the Controller and CFO. The Assistant Controller position handles account analysis and reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, month-end and year-end close, and extensive grant accounting and reporting. Excellent communication and customer service skills in addition to an outgoing personality are a must for this position.

Minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in addition to 7+ years of related experience in a staff or senior accounting position including Non-Profit industry and grant accounting. Must have strong systems skills including hands on experience working in a fully integrated general ledger system and intermediate level Excel skills. CPA and previous experience in public accounting is preferred but not required.
