Description
ROBERT HALF LEGAL is partnering with a high-end, boutique firm in Sherman Oaks in their search for a Labor and Employment Attorney. The firm represents high-profile clients including Fortune 500 companies and notable non-profit organizations.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case development and legal proceedings
• Manage and direct the course of litigation including discovery and motion practice
• Draft and review legal pleadings and motions to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Handle case management tasks, ensuring efficient progression of each case from inception to conclusion
• Utilize case management software to maintain and update client and case information
• Conduct investigations into various employment matters
This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in Labor and Employment practice area
• Familiarity with Consumer Electronics
• Ability to Draft Motions and Draft Pleadings
• Experience in handling Legal Pleadings and Pleadings
• Experience in handling Depositions
• Proficiency in Discovery processes
• Strong Legal Research skills
• Expertise in Case Management
• Knowledge of Employment Law
• Must be a California barred Attorney/Lawyer
