Robert Half Bookkeeper in Shoreview, Minnesota
Description A new permanent role has become available with one of Robert Half's client seeking talented and eager Bookkeepers. This role will consist of Bookkeeper tasks such as data entry, full cycle A/P, and cash applications. Moreover, you will be responsible for reconciliation, month-end closing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Responsibilities
Govern monthly accounting close
Create cash flow projections, as needed
Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
General ledger
Keep a check on Accounts Payable
Handle Accounts Receivable
Alternative special projects as requested
Keep sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Proficient in credit card management and reconciliation
Prepare subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Support monthly accounting close Requirements - Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Travel Expense experience preferred
Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)
Solid understanding of Paychex Payroll
Well-founded grasp of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience with bank reconciliations
Proven knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration
Process Payroll experience required
Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
Top notch analytical, quantitative and social skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
- Notable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
