Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to be part of our team located in Simi Valley, California. This role focuses on the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and addressing customer inquiries. This is a short-term contract role in the industry of account reconciliation and billing.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately processing customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintaining and updating customer credit records and ensuring their accuracy

• Addressing and resolving customer inquiries related to their accounts

• Regularly monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary

• Handling cash applications and ensuring they are correctly applied

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks to manage and analyze accounts

• Contributing to the accounts receivable team's efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed

• Ensuring all billing processes adhere to company policies and standards

• Collaborating with the team to improve and streamline accounts receivable processes

• Regularly reporting on account status to the relevant stakeholders. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

• Demonstrated experience in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing and Cash Applications

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Problem-solving and analytical skills

• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations

• High degree of confidentiality and trustworthiness

• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands, and able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events

• Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
