Description Under the direction of the SVP Digital and Director of Finance, the Controller oversees the day-to-day financial activities of the AGI Digital operations, based in Lenexa, KS. The role will directly supervise the Digital accounting group, be a member of the Digital Leadership Team and coordinate on a regular basis with members of AGI Finance, IT, Purchasing, Engineering, Sales and divisions outside the Digital Group as required. Responsibilities • Monitoring of financial performance of all revenue and expense categories of the specified operating divisions. • Oversight of AGI Digital activities, including but not limited to: -monthly preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules -monthly variance analysis to budget & prior year -monthly A/R collection review -monthly preparation of operational review packages -quarterly preparation of inventory count -quarterly/annual preparation for audit -annual preparation of operating budget -annual preparation of capex budget • Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial information for consolidated reporting at parent company • Preparation of monthly EBITDA and Cash forecasts. • Participation in monthly operational reviews. • Continuous improvement of monthly reporting, monthly forecasting, inventory accuracy & control, MRP system procedures and operational support. • Oversight of divisional payroll & benefit administration. • Evaluation of work performance of reporting personnel. • Performance of detailed business analysis & reporting on key financial matters and initiatives. • Working with AGI Digital team in reviewing and evaluating strategic initiatives and presenting financial scenarios and impacts to AGI Digital and Executive Leadership teams. • Daily/Weekly/Monthly approvals related to credit memos, payroll, and A/P invoices in accordance with DOA. • Oversight of tax and legal compliance.
Qualifications • Post-secondary education in accounting or finance and CPA • 7+years of work experience in accounting, preference may be given to those with SaaS, manufacturing, or cost accounting experience. • Experience in supervising accounting functions and/or team members. • A detail oriented and positive attitude and approach to work. • Proficient with Office 365 and working with ERP systems and implementations. • Ability to prepare, review and maintain all accounting functions. • Excellent organization and prioritization skills. • Experience in the administration and maintenance of accounting systems and processes. • Proven ability to build strong working relationships both internal and external to the organization. • Ability to problem-solve and make sound recommendations pertaining to organization effectiveness. • Analytical thinking and attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) Requirements KPI Reporting, Budgeting - Forecasting, Cash Forecasting, Variance Analysis
