Responsibilities include conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. Responsibilities
Drive Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis, as well as P& L forecasting
Compose and oversee forecasting reports
Keep tabs on monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations, ensuring that business partners handle their resources
Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date
Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary
Possess the know-how and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations
Enable successful Business Intelligence (BI) to deliver valuable foresight and decision support
Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to see the proper execution of plans
Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Collaborate with senior executives on strategic deep dives on creating financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization Requirements - 2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company
Qualified in Spreadsheet and ERP system
Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds
Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Expertise in Manufacturing Costs
Financial analysis experience desired
Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience suggested)
Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
