Staff Accountant candidates will be interested in Robert Half Finance's full-time opportunity with an innovative company. This position is ideal for those who driven by a challenging work environment with many components. Candidates who can prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliations, will be preferred for this Staff Accountant role. You'll be interested in this position if you want to perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes. Staff Accountant Responsibilities

• Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested

• Compose journal entries and conduct the month end close with minimal supervision

• Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

• Prepare monthly financial close workbooks to support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process

• In-depth experience with reconciling month end balance sheet accounts

• Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

• Oversee depreciation, fixed asset ledgers, and reconciliation

• Take part in various department-wide initiatives

• Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

• Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable

• Intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

• Recurring journal entries maintenance and reconciliation

• Organize schedules for monthly payments and capital lease

Requirements

• 1+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

• Sage Intacct experience

• Strong familiarity with financial reconciliation

• Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

• Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

• Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills

• Skilled with ERP systems

• Self-starter and strong ethical standards

• Spreadsheet and database capabilities

• BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

• Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
