Description We are seeking a Tax Sr. - Corporate, based in Solvang, California. You will be immersed in a dynamic workplace, offering a long-term contract employment opportunity. This role revolves around complex tax experience within a diverse range of industries, requiring a high level of organization, accuracy, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintaining detailed and accurate customer credit records
• Resolving customer credit inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner
• Monitoring customer credit accounts and initiating actions to collect delinquent payments
• Ensuring the company's tax compliance on a corporate level, including corporate, individual, real estate, and partnership taxation
• Handling tax issues related to choice of entity and multi-state operations
• Preparing individual, federal, and corporate tax returns, along with S-Corps and Trust Tax Returns
• Continually developing and refining verbal and written communication skills
• Utilizing strong organizational techniques to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Demonstrating a high level of motivation and passion for the profession. Requirements • Proven experience in Corporate Tax Return preparation and filing
• Proficiency in Individual Tax Return handling
• Demonstrated expertise in Federal Tax Return processes
• Familiarity with Tax - Individual practices
• Knowledge and understanding of S-Corps tax regulations
• Prior experience in managing Trust Tax Returns
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in using tax software and other relevant computer applications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA or advanced degree preferred)
• Knowledge of current tax laws and regulations.
