Robert Half Product Manager in Somerville, Massachusetts

Description Our Higher Education product offering is the core part of our revenue base and the main driver for our long-term growth strategy. This role will ensure the offering’s continued success, improving the customer experience to drive growth and protect revenue as we expand aggressively in 2021 and beyond.

In this role, you will work closely with all areas of the business to define and refine the offering, with a focus on supporting our expansion and success in North America. Over time you will drive effective expansion of the product globally.

You are a seasoned Product Leader with several years of experience and proven successes in driving large scale growth of SaaS products - ideally within education.

You are an expert in product management and product discovery principles and looking for an opportunity to take ownership of an established product you can grow and scale globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Fulfill Product Manager responsibilities across the product offering and core products including:

• Lead the definition and prioritization of initiatives to drive innovation and growth for our Higher Education product globally with an initial strong focus on North America

• Maintain a deep understanding of the Higher Education landscape (competitors, personas, trends) in North America and around the world

• Develop a 1-3 year outlook for growth (including revenue targets) for the product

• Work closely with a team of Product Managers and Product Owners to define products and features to feed into the roadmap

• Support definition of overall product goals and strategy in line with company strategy

• Advocate core product development and discovery principles across the business (eg. including the use of opportunity trees etc)

• Collaborate with all areas of the business, particularly Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success and Market Research resources to ensure product success

• Guide and coach other Product Managers and Product Owners on relevant individual product strategies and help us grow a healthy product organization


• 10+ years experience in a product capacity, ideally within education/publishing, EdTech, or digital products in general

• Proven experience and demonstrated outcomes scaling a SaaS product with millions of users

• Strong commercial acumen to ensure the product provides a return on investment with P& L experience being essential

• Solid experience working across the lifecycle of a product (strategy, delivery, sunsetting)

• Demonstrated experience building and refining product-market fit and improving market penetration/share

• Experience working with or within Agile teams a plus

• Scientific background a plus, but not necessary Requirements SaaS
