Description Join a great and growing local CPA office on the Central Coast! Amazing opportunity with a frim, specializing in tax, accounting, tax planning and preparation. Our firm serves clientele in a wide range of industries. We have been building a great client base largely from current client and detail oriented referrals. Our team members get to support a variety of industries, issues, projects and opportunities to gain new experiences. We offer great flexibility, compensation and benefits. This position as option for Remote or Hybrid schedule!
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and/or review individual and business tax returns (Partnerships, C Corp, and S-Corp) Research complex tax issues to help determine appropriate tax positions and planning opportunities Manage workload to meet demanding tax deadlines Written and oral communications with clients, team members and taxing authorities Collaboration with team members to achieve firm goals Posted by Recruiting Director Scott Moore Requirements Qualifications
Two plus years of tax preparation experience with a CPA firm Accounting skills and experience in preparing accounting documentation Proficiency with accounting software packages, ideal QuickBooks A Bachelor's or Master's degree required An active EA or CPA license is preferred (not required)
