Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in South Brunswick, New Jersey
Description
We are searching for a meticulous and experienced HR Assistant to join our team in South Brunswick, New Jersey. This role is instrumental in providing administrative support within the HR function, aiding in maintaining an efficient office environment. The successful candidate will be well-versed in HR procedures and able to juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
• Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies) accurately.
• Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc).
• Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes.
• Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc).
• Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews.
• Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees.
• Assist our recruiters in sourcing candidates and updating our database
Requirements
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is required
• Experience with Full Cycle Recruiting is necessary
• Must be able to perform Data Entry tasks efficiently
• Familiarity with ADP - Payroll is a must
• Knowledge of HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems is needed
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
