Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in South El Monte, California
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in South El Monte, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including data entry, check processing, and a number of accounting functions. You will also be tasked with some HR/Admin duties, utilizing your skills in Microsoft Excel and Sage 50.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable using Sage 50 and other accounting software systems.
• Handle data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Process checks and manage discrepancy issues as they arise.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions.
• Perform various HR/Admin tasks as assigned.
• Ensure all accounting tasks are executed following JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system.
• Maintain and update customer credit records.
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take action to collect delinquent payments.
• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Requirements • Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems
• Proficient in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Accounting Functions
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge in Check Processing
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Ability to handle and resolve Discrepancies
• Familiarity with Sage 50 software
