As Sr. Accountant you will use your knowledge and skills to prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, build budgets and forecasts, prepare audits, and manage internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position requires top-notch analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent compensation is just part of the package. What you get to do every day
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary
Requirements
Skillful in analytical, quantitative and social skills
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Great attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
BA/BS in Accounting, Master's or CPA credentials are preferred
Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges
Experience with ERP systems
Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Comprehensive knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Adeptness in NetSuite
Strong familiarity with general ledger
Microsoft Excel experience
Foundational knowledge in month end closings
General familiarity with auditing
Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP Accounting
Command of Bank Account Reconciliation
Practical knowledge of Monthly Financial Reporting
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
Able to manage time well
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
