Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in South Plainfield, New Jersey
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the pharmaceutical industry, located in South Plainfield, New Jersey. The successful candidate will be tasked with processing accounting functions, managing data entry, and ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable.
Responsibilities
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to manage and process accounts payable
• Handle tasks related to Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and update financial records
• Ensure accuracy in check processing and manage any discrepancy in accounts
• Process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately
• Maintain precise records of customer credit
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action when needed
• Resolve customer inquiries related to accounts payable
• Maintain and update customer applications as required
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operation of accounting functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory for this role.
• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is required.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Ability to carry out Accounting Functions accurately and efficiently.
• Competency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.
• Experience in Check Processing is required.
• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks is key for this role.
• Ability to resolve Discrepancy issues effectively and promptly.
