Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Southfield, Michigan

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in SOUTHFIELD, Michigan, United States. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be expected to manage customer accounts, process credit applications, and resolve any customer inquiries. You will be a part of a team that values strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

• Resolve any issues related to accounts receivable with customers or vendors.

• Process credit applications from customers in an accurate and timely manner.

• Maintain cash applications, reconciliations, and chargebacks.

• Conduct regular account reconciliations and update the general ledger as required.

• Use accounting software systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools effectively.

• Utilize financial services tools such as ADP for various accounting functions.

• Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to manage billing functions and cash activity.

• Ensure proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for tasks such as VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables.

• Gain familiarity with Epic Software and other relevant software programs. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions needed

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is mandatory

• Capability to carry out Billing Functions is required

• Experience in handling Cash Activity is necessary

• Skills in Cash Handling are a must
