Robert Half Business Planning and Consolidations Analyst in Southfield, Michigan

Description We are looking to bring on board a Business Planning and Consolidations Analyst in SOUTHFIELD, Michigan. In this role, you will be a vital part of our team, focusing on maintaining crucial business dimensions, troubleshooting system problems, and managing user support. The role is integral to our operations, with a focus on ensuring the smooth running of our finance domain.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage business dimensions.

• Be responsible for maintaining report/input templates.

• Oversee the maintenance of logic/member formulas.

• Provide user support and manage user maintenance effectively.

• Act as the gatekeeper for all Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC) data.

• Troubleshoot system problems and perform SAP Finance configurations to resolve production issues and support the finance domain.

• Consolidate financials, including actuals, budgets, and forecasts.

• Architect, build, and support Financial Planning applications within Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC).

• Carry out administration and/or implementation of SAP BPC.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel modeling skills to benefit financial statement consolidation. Requirements • Proven experience as a Business Planning and Consolidations Analyst or similar role for a minimum of five years.

• Strong expertise in BPC - Business Planning & Control.

• Proficiency in SAP BPC.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Experience in creating and implementing strategic plans and goals for the business.

• Strong understanding of financial planning, reporting, and consolidation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

• Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
