We are in search of a Financial Analyst to join our amazing client in Southfield, Michigan. This role involves the use of Accounting Software Systems, CapEx, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. The Financial Analyst will be a crucial part of their team, handling various accounting functions, budget processes, and finance-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems to maintain accurate financial records and generate reports.

• Handle CapEx related tasks, including budgeting, analysis, and reporting.

• Implement and manage ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to improve business processes and decision-making.

• Perform various accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation.

• Participate in budget processes, including planning, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Conduct finance-related tasks such as financial modeling, profitability analysis, and cost management.

• Apply knowledge of the construction industry to analyze financial performance and trends.

• Manage the percentage (%) of completion method for recognizing revenues and expenses on long-term projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory

• 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst is mandatory

• Must have experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions is essential

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is crucial

• Must have a solid background in Finance

• Understanding of Construction industry is needed

• The ability to calculate percentage (%) of completion accurately is highly preferred
