Description You might be the General Office Clerk Robert Half is looking for, if you are a highly motivated self-starter who is keen on working in the Non-Profit industry. We're looking for people who love organization, order, and people for this essential role. Are you looking for a short-term contract / contract / temporary opportunity in the Southfield, Michigan area? This General Office Clerk role, which will be responsible for performing various administrative support tasks, including operating office equipment and completing general clerical work, might be what you're looking for!

Key responsibilities

  • Provide support on diverse employee projects as necessary

  • Data entry, word processing, filing, scanning, copying, and faxing

  • Receiving and placing telephone calls

  • Delivering customer service quickly and accurately

  • Meet customers in a friendly manner

  • Offer, as needed, support to front desk and receptionist duties

  • Exercise prescribed style and format when drafting correspondence Requirements - Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills

  • 1 Year of Office Clerk experience at minimum suggested

  • Practical knowledge of Central Billing Office

  • Office Calendar experience highly valued

  • Computer Data Entry experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of back office support

  • General familiarity with navigating basic office equipment and protocols

  • Adeptness in Administrative Office

  • Data entry experience preferred

  • Good understanding of Office Buildings

  • Comprehension of Ordering Office Supplies

  • Strong familiarity with numeric data entry

  • Perform Data Entry experience preferred

  • Earlier work involving Microsoft Office

  • Experience with ordering office supplies and equipment

  • Background working with Contracting Officer Representative

  • Experience with Typing Data Entry

  • Hands-on experience with Basic Office Equipment

  • Contracting Officer experience highly preferred

  • Previous experience working with Office Administration

  • Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Comfortable handling office equipment

  • High school diploma or its equivalent is required

  • Ability to multitask effectively

  • Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
