Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Southlake, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Southlake, Texas. This role involves managing the General Ledger (GL) accounting and overseeing month-end close procedures. The position requires a strong leader with experience in various software systems and a passion for mentoring.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of the General Ledger (GL) accounting operations.
• Supervise and mentor one direct report, fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end close procedures.
• Utilize multiple software systems to manage and analyze financial data.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• Apply knowledge of Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Manage accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Maintain compliance with auditing standards and procedures.
• Oversee billing functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Requirements • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with BlackLine and Concur software
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge of Auditing processes
• Ability to handle Billing Functions
• Must have a clear understanding of financial regulations and legislation.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or related certification is desirable.
• Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
