Description

Robert Half is currently working with a client in the Grapevine area in search of a Tier 2 support/Technical Account Manager position.

POSITION: TIER 2 SUPPORT/TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

LOCATION: GRAPEVINE

DURATION: 6 MONTH CONTRACT TO CONVERSION

RATE: $25-$29/HR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A HEALTH CARE SETTING!!

Job responsibilities include (but are not necessarily limited to):

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with all members of assigned accounts, including pharmacy owners, pharmacists, technicians, and clerks

  • Provide guidance and aid to configure software and computer settings to customize software to best meet each client’s unique needs

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions to clients’ unique needs, working with internal departments to ensure project resolutions

  • Communicate clearly with clients over the phone or by email about status of purchases, trouble tickets, and various requests

  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed

  • Advocate for clients’ software features and development requests

  • Become an expert on company software suite to guide clients in best practices for their specific needs

  • Provide onsite and web-based training of the pharmacy software as needed

  • Field questions from external customers through various channels, determining possible solutions and guiding customers through resolutions

  • Guide installation, configuration and maintenance of personal workstations, servers, ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems

  • Administer LANs according to TCP/IP networking protocols

  • Plan and implement network security in compliance with URAC, HIPAA, and PCI requirements, including building firewalls, applying cryptography to applications, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, etc., as needed

  • Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties

  • Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures

    Requirements

Position Qualifications:

  • At least two years of relevant experience required, such as pharmacy/pharmacy technician experience, with at least four to six years being preferred

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician certification a plus

  • Broad pharmacy knowledge a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate by phone and email to members at all levels of client organizations, including pharmacy owners, pharmacists, technicians, and clerks

  • Proficiency in WANs (Wide Area Networks) and expert-level knowledge in LANs (local area networks)

  • Desktop support or similar experience required, strong background in workstation management and hardware and OS installations and upgrades preferred

  • Proven ability to shift between multiple tasks and manage competing needs

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent listening, documentation, and critical thinking skills
