We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States. This role is for a Controller (Plant) who will handle overall accounting and finance responsibilities of the plant, perform monthly close, MIS reporting, bank reporting, budgets, and lead audits and tax filing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall accounting and finance functions of the plant

• Conduct monthly close, MIS reporting, and bank reporting tasks

• Develop budgets and manage them effectively

• Lead and prepare for audits and tax filing procedures

• Actively participate in handling reconciliations and SAP cleanup tasks

• Utilize ERP/SAP experience to enhance efficiency

• Leverage manufacturing background to understand and streamline processes

• Prepare month-end assignments and close audits

• Utilize skills in 'Accounting Functions', 'Auditing', 'Budget Processes', 'SAP HANA', 'Month End Close', "Department SOP's", 'Monthly Sales Tax', 'Bank Reconciliations', 'General Ledger', 'Journal Entries'.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions is essential

• Experience in Auditing is required

• Familiarity with Budget Processes is necessary

• Knowledge of SAP HANA is a plus

• Capability to handle Month End Close activities is expected

• Understanding and adherence to Department SOP's is crucial

• Experience in handling Monthly Sales Tax is needed

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is important

• Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance is required

• Experience in making Journal Entries is necessary
