Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Spartanburg, South Carolina


Organized accounting professionals who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision and are self-driven so succeed as a Bookkeeper, this role could be for you! We are in search of a determined Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. Experience managing payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, and full cycle A/P, will be crucial to this Full Charge Bookkeeper role. At times, the Full Charge Bookkeeper might also be asked to oversee the clerical staff. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Spartanburg, South Carolina area.   • Log budget transfers

  • Skilled in credit card management and reconciliation

  • Produce cash flow projections, as needed

  • Supervise monthly accounting close

  • Iron out subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

  • Administrate Accounts Payable

  • Provide monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

  • Additional special projects if necessary

  • Complete cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

  • Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

  • Condense business license and gross receipts

  • Administrate Accounts Receivable

  • Asset Inventory experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

  • Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

    • Dynamic accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

  • Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
