Robert Half Hybrid Senior Tax Accountant in Spartanburg, South Carolina
Description
We are on the lookout for a Tax Accountant to join a top CPA Firm located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This role involves working in a blend of office and remote environments, primarily focusing on tax and accountancy functions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from a senior tax specialist and be exposed to a diverse client base.
Responsibilities:
• Managing various tax form preparations, including individual tax returns, estate tax returns, federal tax returns, IRS Form 1065, IRS Form 1120F, and IRS Form 1120S.
• Utilizing various software such as Ultratax, QuickBooks (desktop and online), Peachtree, Sage, and CCH Engagement for tax and accounting purposes.
• Assisting in bookkeeping tasks and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Participating in mentorship programs and learning from senior tax specialists.
• Adapting to flexible work schedules, including half-days on Fridays outside of tax season.
• Utilizing skills in CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2+ Years of experience in Tax
